Cinnamon Pizza

OOOOOOkkkkk.... So I have been at home (Spokane, Washington) since early November so I haven't been baking  and I got home on the 3rd of January and I've been cooking up a storm! I will be baking as well, but I'm out of powdered sugar so I have to get some.
AND (sad story) I was going to use my flour and I saw bug legs in it..... soooo I decided to throw it all away. I'm a paranoid person when it comes to bugs and for all I knew there were eggs in it!!!

So my husband and I decided to order some pizza from Papa Johns (Yum) and we got a cinni-pie from them and it was DELICIOUS!!!
And, of course, I had to try to make my own.

What you need:

For the dough:
  • 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar

For the Streusel:
1 Cup Oats
1 C. Flour
1/2 C. Brown sugar- packed
2 T. Cinnamon
1 stick of Butter or margarine

Sugar Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar mixed
1-2 tablespoons milk.

What to do:
For the Dough:
  1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups bread flour, olive oil, salt, white sugar and the yeast mixture; stir well to combine. Beat well until a stiff dough has formed. Cover and rise until doubled in volume, about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  3. Turn dough out onto a well floured surface. Form dough into a round and roll out into a pizza crust shape.

For the Streusel:
Mix flour, sugar and cinnamon in bowl. Dice up CHILLED butter/margarine and add to dry mix. Mix with hands until you can form a sort of "snow-ball" with mixture. Try to leave crumbles big and spread over pizza dough. Spread on top of dough.

Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes until dough bottom is golden.

For the Sugar Glaze (Not in the picture, like I said, I'm out of powdered sugar):
Drizzle glaze on cooked pie when it is fresh out of the oven.
Let sit for 5 minutes, cut and serve warm.

Enjoy!
